Handling & Operating Requirements
- Z803 Conversion Carbon-Type Sulfur Remover has a limited storage stability from production to use. Therefore, it should be produced and used promptly and must not be stored for long periods at the user's site or in the warehouse.
- The filling method is similar to that of activated carbon and iron oxide. During loading, all valves and openings-except the manhole used for filling-must be closed to prevent air convection inside the tower.
- After filling, the tower should be purged and replaced with decarbonization gas or carbonization gas as soon as possible before being put into operation. Air or CO₂ is strictly prohibited for purging or replacement; if the unit cannot be started in time, N₂ must be used instead.
- If the system will not operate for an extended period, the inlet and outlet valves of the desulfurization tower should remain closed to maintain a sealed, pressure-holding state. N₂ replacement should be performed when necessary.
