Introduction
Ceramic Ball With Holes is a new product based on inert alumina ceramic balls developed by the Institute of our company. The hole is opened through the axis of the ball diameter. Thus ceramic ball not only has a certain mechanical strength, chemical stability and thermal stability, but also has larger specific area and void ratio, resulting in the increase of the dispersion and throughput of the feedstock and the decrease of system resistance.
Since it is put into the market, the product is warmly welcome and appraised by the customers. It is proved by the customers that this product can distribute gas and liquid better, compared with the formerly used covering and supporting packing under same operating conditions in the same reactor or furnace. With this product, the gas/liquid flow is obviously increased, the system resistance is obviously decreased, and there is no catalyst blocking and no coking, thus prolongs the catalyst service life.

(1) The Al2O3 content of the ceramic balls with openings is 20-90%. There are 15 grades of product, every 5% of Al2O3 per grade. The product can also be produced according to the customers' requirements and Al2O3 content.
(2) For naturally bulking of the packing, bulk specific weight should be carefully considered. The amount of the product required is determined by actual packing volume.
