Product Introduction
HT Mn Oxygen Scavenger is a manganese-type oxygen removal material, mainly applied to eliminate trace oxygen in feedstocks within ethylene and propylene production. It can also remove trace oxygen from N₂, H₂, Ar, CO and other process gases. This product can remove oxygen at ambient temperature without hydrogen addition. It delivers outstanding deoxygenation efficiency and large oxygen adsorption capacity, efficiently stripping impurities including CO₂ and H₂O. It maintains stable operation with no risk of overheating.
Traditionally, most plants adopt nickel-based deoxygenation systems to remove oxygen from feed gas. Their working principle relies on reduced nickel reacting with oxygen contained in propylene to form high-valence nickel oxides for oxygen elimination.
Nevertheless, nickel oxygen adsorbents suffer obvious drawbacks in practical production: uneven distribution of active sites and violent activation reactions. The adsorbent readily absorbs hydrogen during activation, which easily triggers overheating and sintering inside the purification tower. This disrupts normal production and brings economic losses.
Besides, cylindrical nickel-based oxygen removers feature low mechanical strength and tend to crack during loading. The resulting fine powder will be carried into downstream production lines and interfere with subsequent processes.
HT Mn Oxygen Scavenger perfectly addresses all the above deficiencies. It adopts a spherical shape with high compressive strength to avoid breakage during loading. Meanwhile, it integrates multiple purification functions and runs stably, with all performance indicators fully meeting the standards of polymerization processes.
