The main advantages is not only having high Claus activity, but also having the function of removing the micro-oxygen in the process gas and thus protecting the following catalyst avoiding the influence of sulfated.
A958 Iron Oxide Catalysts can be used alone in a single reactor or loaded in the upper of active Al2O3. The loaded amount of A958 Iron Oxide Catalysts account for one-second or one third of total amount of catalyst in the reactor. A958 Iron Oxide Catalysts isn't sensitive to the fluctuation of process conditions and excessive SO2 and O2 in the process gas, therefore A958 Iron Oxide Catalysts specially suited to be used in the low load units or the units whose load often changed greatly.At the same unit and process, overall sulfur conversion rate can be raised about 1.7%, it is specially used to sulfur recovery unit that has high acid gas H2S content and flow change amplitude.
