This ammonia decomposition catalyst uses MgO as the carrier coated with special active ingredients, supporting stable operation under high-temperature environments. It boasts a refractory temperature of 1700°C, alongside high catalytic activity, great mechanical strength, strong anti-coking and anti-poisoning capacity.

The catalyst is manufactured through calcination at temperatures exceeding 1400°C. It will not sinter or deform as long as the reaction temperature stays below this threshold. For on-site practical use, we suggest maintaining operating temperature between 1000°C and 1300°C. Long-time operation above 1300°C is discouraged, as it triggers catalyst sintering and loss of active components, resulting in weakened catalytic performance. Coke oven ammonia gas contains H₂S and trace organics, so extended operation at excessively low temperatures should also be avoided to stop undesired side reactions.

This ammonia decomposition catalyst for hydrogen production is packed in plastic-lined cardboard drums with a net weight of 40 kg each. Handle with caution during transportation to prevent breakage, and keep the product away from moisture and contaminants.
