Industrial field tests verify that A988 delivers remarkably higher Claus reaction activity and CS₂ hydrolysis efficiency compared with overseas catalysts.

Application
Sulfur recovery is a vital process for natural gas plants and refineries. Raw feed gas generally contains H₂S, CO₂ and other components. Highly toxic H₂S will produce harmful SO₂ emissions if not handled properly. To meet strict environmental standards, sulfur compounds are converted into elemental sulfur and water via Claus sulfur recovery units and tail gas treatment systems.
This catalyst fits Claus facilities in petrochemical and coal chemical sectors. It can be fully packed alone in reactors or mixed with other functional catalysts. When loaded in primary reactors, it accelerates organic sulfur hydrolysis; placed in secondary and tertiary reactors, it elevates total sulfur conversion efficiency.
Benefiting from outstanding performance, A988 TiO₂ Based Catalyst is suggested for COS and CS₂ hydrolysis in the first reactor to lift Claus conversion in subsequent reactors. It can directly substitute imported catalysts on overseas-made equipment and be widely deployed on all sulfur recovery units.
A988 TiO₂ Based Catalyst adopts plastic-lined cardboard drum packaging, with 40kg net weight per drum. Keep it dry and isolated from other chemicals during shipment; rolling is forbidden. Under sealed storage, its quality remains intact for 3~5 years.
